ROG's Intelligent Cooling philosophy mixes the right features and system settings to ensure the best experience for each situation. Performance is boosted with cutting-edge enhancements like liquid metal compound on the CPU and a well-ventilated exterior that keeps noise levels lower than the last generation. ROG Armoury Crate software seamlessly switches between operating modes to optimize performance and acoustics for the task. 

Liquid metal compound from Thermal Grizzly reduces CPU temperatures by up to 12°C compared to standard thermal paste. Painting liquid metal onto CPUs is delicate work, typically done by hand. ASUS commissioned custom equipment that automates the process with such mechanical precision, applied it across our entire lineup of 10th gen Intel® Core devices. The block that sits on the CPU also has a patented internal fence that prevents liquid metal from leaking out over time.

RELIABLE WI-FI 6 NETWORKING

Ultrafast Intel® Wi-Fi 6 with Gig+ (802.11ax) lets you game reliably at LAN speeds wherever compatible connections are available. Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) enables a peak interface bandwidth up to 2.4Gbps (Wi-Fi speeds are based on theoretical performance. Actual performance may vary), with boosted network speed, efficiency, and reliability in crowded spaces. INTRODUCING KEYSTONE II

Keystone II offers a versatile new way to personalize your machine and protect your personal data. These physical, NFC-enabled keys fit neatly into the Strix SCAR 15/17’s chassis, adding a subtle accent along the trim. When docked, Keystones can unlock access to personalized settings that transform your machine, quick-launch apps or games of your choice, reveal a hidden Shadow Drive for covert private storage, and more. 

Keystones give you quicker access to essential functions and commands. Docking a Keystone can launch your favorite apps, switch operating modes, and give you quick access to the Cloud Profile associated with your ROG ID. Unplugging the Keystone can also initiate specific actions, from instantly activating a stealth mode that minimizes all windows, to quickly logging you out of your Windows account.

Keep private files in a secret storage space linked to your Keystone. Used like a real key, it reveals a Shadow Drive within your computer. The hidden partition can be encrypted (Encryption is only for Windows 10 Pro users) to offer additional security for personal data, programs, and files you don’t want to fall into the wrong hands. Link the drive to multiple Keystones to share access or create backup keys of your own.

Immersive, side-firing speakers put you in the thick of the action. Smart Amp technology monitors audio output and makes real-time adjustments to keep the speakers within thermal and excursion limits, preventing damage to the cones. The resulting sound has less noise distortion, higher dynamic range, more bass, and significantly higher potential output. Pump up the volume and hear every enemy movement, firefight, and environmental audio cue in the game.
