Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard & Amex) via paystation

Any promotional discount or cash discount prices as shown on our web store do not apply when paying via any VISA or MasterCard debit or credit cards. Just Laptops charges a one-off 2.5% fee on top of a cash discounted price to cover the merchant costs for processing cards via paystation.

Please understand that the payment gateway, card networks, banks and other financial institutions charge fees (such as network fees, gateway fees & merchant fees) from merchants for processing credit cards and charge cards/gift cards. Our slim margins mean that Just Laptops needs to recover the additional costs for accepting these cards as a form of payment.

EFTPOS (In Store Only)Debit Cards (In Store Only)Internet BankingBank Deposit and POLi transactions will not incur any surcharges.

What can I do if the credit card transaction does not go through?

Your credit card transaction may fail to go through for various reasons, such as:

• Invalid card details, such as invalid card number, expiry date or CVV/CSC codes
• Insufficient funds (or credits)
• "Do Not Honour": Card issuer does not allow a transaction to take place
• Payment authentication failed (such as invalid TXT confirmation codes)

Credit card issuers may also have various security measures in place. For example, if you are making purchases from a new computer, new Wi-Fi network, using a new IP address, making an occasional purchase which is outside of your normal spending behaviour, or if you are in a different country, chances are the credit card transaction may be declined for security reasons.

Just Laptops is unable to help if your transaction is declined by your credit card issuer. Please contact your credit card issuer for assistance. They may help verify your identity and manually allow the transaction to go through from their end at their discretion.

Notes when paying via Credit Cards: As a measure to protect credit card owners and to prevent losses, Just Laptops may require customer to prove that they are the rightful owner of the credit card being used in the transaction and/or is authorised to make the transaction. If Just Laptops is not fully satisfied or does not feel secure about the transaction, we reserve the rights to withhold the release of any goods, cancel your order and reverse the transaction. Warning: Any attempts to use stolen credit cards or provide falsified (photoshopped) NZ Driver License, bank or credit card statements are illegal and carry a criminal sentence. Our staff will review any attempts to use stolen credit cards, and will pass these information as evidence to law enforcement if necessary.

Layby / Layaway
Hold & reserve a product for more than 7 days & up to 3 months

Layby (or layaway in the US) is a purchase agreement in which the merchant reserves an item for a consumer until the consumer completes all the payments necessary to pay for that item, and only then hands over the item.

Layby is a great way to secure the price of an item (especially if it is on special) or secure the stock (if an item is low on stock and could be sold out at any time), but you just need some time to gather the funds to pay for it. We offer max 3 months layby with 20% deposit. Layby sales are eligible for cash discount price. Buyer takes ownership only after the total amount is paid in full. If you wish to take immediate ownership, please consider using one of the "Buy Now, Pay Later" options, Long Term Finance or consumer finance options.

*NOTE*  Please note the difference between layby & laybuy (a company which offers Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) payment solutions). To avoid confusion, if you wish to layby an item, please also mention the term layaway.

By making your first payment, you agree to the following Layby Terms:

1. Layby: The purchase price is $_____. No extra fee will be applied.

2. Initial Deposit of 20%: $_____

3. Remaining balance must be paid in full within THREE (3) months.

4. After layby starts, we do not ask for minimum payment. Buyer can make any payment at any time, so long as the full amount is paid off before layby term ends. For ease of administration, each payment must be no less than 10% of the purchase price (for example, please do not make $1 payment if the purchase price is more than $2,000).

5. By the end of the agreed layby term if there is still any outstanding amount to pay, we reserve the rights to cancel the trade and make the items available to other customers. A cancellation fee will be deducted off the purchase price. The rest will be refunded to you.

6. You have the right to cancel your layby at any time before the end of the layby period. A cancellation fee will be deducted off the purchase price. The rest will be refunded to you. This is in part to cover any costs arising from the agreement, such as the loss of value during the layby period, costs incurred in storing and insuring the goods, and any administration expenses.

7. If the layby sale agreement is cancelled by us due to our fault or circumstances beyond our control, such as the goods no longer available (due to product fault, recall, damage or theft, etc.) and no satisfactory substitute goods can be reasonably obtained, all money paid to us under the agreement will be fully refunded with no cancellation fee.

8. Buyer takes ownership only after the amount is paid in full. Just Laptops will keep the product(s) safely until any outstanding amount is fully paid off. We will release the product as soon as the balance is paid in full.
